BarierBrandon felt like a kid again. Ha' zipped ahead, feeling the shredded tire and rocks that made up the playground's floor underneath her paws. The man behind chased her through obstacles he was far too tall to fit in. Ha' fit just fine and she used her cat-like features against him. She clung to a tree as Brandon tried to pull her down. "Here kitty, kitty, kitty," He called jokingly. Ha' smirked. "Honestly, do the humans call our feline cousins like this? And they respond?" She flicked her tail in mock indigence. The teacher gave up on jumping, waited a second, and walked away. Ha' watched him, wondering if she had hurt him. "Wait, where are you going?" He ignored her. "Go on, speak Brahndoughn," she still had a hard time pronouncing his name. Brandon didn't reply. The FLutey scampered down the tree and followed him, a look of worry and annoyance on her face. "Oh, come now. I was only joking. Don't you have a sense of humor?"

The creature jumped ten feet in the air when a loud buzzer went off. Still, she did as she was told.

The creature was startled again by the noise and tumbled off the bed. Well, at least she was looking at the floor now.
"Good. This completes the gymnastic portion of your mandatory physical and mental wellness exercise."
The creature groaned, sitting
Bubbles, balloons, and wheatMy dreams are different.
I dream of open fields of golden wheat
In the center
There's a hot air balloon.
I run, climb in
And hold out a hand
My brothers scramble in
with my other friends.
We laugh as the balloon rises
The sky is a house for bubbles
Of all colors and sizes.
We blow more, and pop them.
We also fly kites
When we land
Flowers bloom and we pick them
One of us fits a flower in a bubble.
One by one, we let the flowers descend
One by one.
Once the moon rises, we set up a campfire.
Smores litter the ground and our mouths.
We're all together
Then I wake up.
I wish everyday could be like that.
